Accra, Ghana — Since 2021

Building the future of STEAM education, one student at a time.

Our Mission

Empowering the Next Generation Through Accessible STEAM Education

Every child deserves access to STEAM education. We develop innovative products and services to foster hands-on learning, spark creativity, and inspire the next generation of thinkers, makers, and problem solvers across Africa and beyond.

Our Vision

A Continent Where Every Student Can Build Their Future

We see a future where Ghanaian students compete on equal footing with peers from Silicon Valley, where rural schools have better labs than urban ones did a decade ago, and where STEAM careers are as aspirational as medicine or law.

Our Journey

From a spark of an idea to a nationwide movement

2021

The Spark

Ed Emporia was founded with a simple belief: every child deserves access to quality STEAM education. Our first pilot program launched in 3 schools across Accra.

First STEAM Hub

We built and launched our first digital learning platform, reaching 500 students with interactive gamified content. The response exceeded every expectation.

Going National

Expansion to Kumasi and Tamale. We hosted our first national hackathon with 100 participants and deployed our first 10 STEAM PODs.

Industry Partnerships

Formal partnerships with 15 schools and 5 industry leaders. The Pre-University STEAM program launched, placing 90% of graduates into jobs within 6 months.

Acceleration

50+ STEAM PODs operational. The Career Spotlight program reached 2,000 students. We began exploring expansion into neighboring West African countries.

Our Values

The principles that guide every decision we make

Accessible

Making STEAM education approachable and available to everyone, regardless of background, location, or economic status. Geography and income should never limit potential.

Innovative

Encouraging creative solutions and forward-thinking approaches to teaching and learning. We embrace new technologies and pedagogies that improve outcomes.

Collaborative

Building strong partnerships with educators, students, parents, and industry to create learning experiences that are greater than the sum of their parts.

Impact-Driven

Every program, product, and partnership is measured by one standard: does it meaningfully improve a student's trajectory? If not, we iterate until it does.
